YWAM Music Amsterdam, or YMA, is a ministry focussed on sharing biblical truth through worship and new songs being written by us and our team

We, as a team have a mission to create and release music, writing songs that resonate with God's heart for nations. 

Our goal is to impact cultures and communities with worship and prophetic sound. 

We want to make God known through our songs and be able to lead people into worship. 

Based in the heart of the city, The Prayer room (Tabernacle) is focussed on hosting intercession for the city and the nations and being a centre of worship within the city.

Every week we lead a time of devotional in the Tabernacle so worship can keep rising in the area and change the atmosphere of the place.

Established in 1973, YWAM Amsterdam is a centre for training missionaries and reaching out to the city through evangelism, mercy ministries and collaboration with churches.

To keep schools and ministries running, we have different roles in the community, like accounting, maintenance, kitchen, hospitality etc. 

We help serving at:

• Anchor Cafe: A cafe inside the building that focus on creating a space for people to connect and build community

• Media and communications: Communicating the Gospel through social media, website, newsletters and more

• Maintenance: Taking care of the buildings that God blessed us with

• Building Management: Joseph is responsible for the budget, upkeep and maintenance of one of the buildings YWAM Amsterdam owns in the city.

Amsterdam is a beautiful city with a lot of history and art, but it is also a place where people come because of the legalized prostitution and for the coffeeshops (places where you can smoke mariuana). That's why we want to reach out to the city and to the tourists that come here.
